Already have 4 switches and a switch2, every other gaming console, 2 steam decks, rog ally, lost count of how many gaming laptops. I've tried PS+, game pass, VR streaming, wifi monitor, long hdmi cable into bedroom (wife vetoed quickly), many other ideas.

Nothing works except regular laptop/PC still. I want to spam baal runs and similar games at a competitive speed. Consoles dont let you host games well. Handheld PCs used to be great but now they are locked to console UI and cannot be used for D2 except single player

On a phone you can put PC UI since theres a keyboard. Let me connect a controller. Phones are fast enough now to run D2 for sure, people can run cyberpunk and similar games

PC has a lobby view, when you create "baalruns001" the text field saves the text so you only need to change the number the press enter. I can make a public game and be running with 7 folks within seconds.

Console forces you to go through several UI screens and then slowly type in a game name. Or you use the useless quest options that almost never result in a full game

And no, you dont have to type in anything consoles. Its a few clicks and the gsme is called something like "baal" or "throne of destruction" automatically. And on xbox people rejoin via your profile anyway so they wont even search for the game you created.

I'm sure console is playable but if you're like 20% slower that adds up to huge differences after a few thousand runs. It's also impossible to replicate PC activity on console, simply fewer people there
