I guess it comes down to supply/demand… somehow demand is really high in SC.. or really low in HC

But it's true the new tz with random affixes is making hc tougher than normal. U can go in blood moor with cursed affixed and get popped by 5 random quill rats

Maybe just far more folks playing SC with the new class and content to try it out first? Plus heralds can be challenging so maybe just far more folks temporarily moved back to SC. Idk just spit balling.

It's the second phase. Blizz is tracking all of the loaded mules being converted to RotW. Very easy for them to track accounts which hurt botters the most ( the mules, not the throw away accounts).
The other aspect is people are too chicken to play hc which is normal. Newbies fail at sc already. I saw a kicksin video a moment ago with gg items and atrocious gameplay at the same time

Play HC 4 years, I can’t imagine softcore in any reason.
Died, Just make another char, rush and proceed play Hardcore
