Weapons: 2x Mosaic Claws. Best base is Greater Talons, +3 Phoenix strike. After that skills in this order Claws of Thunder > Blades of Ice.

Belt: Arachnid Mesh
Boots: Shadow Dancer
Gloves: Rare +2MA/20IAS/Stats

Ring 1: Raven Frost
Ring 2: BK or SOJ
Switch: CTA+Spirit or (if BO barb) 2x 5-6 Fade Claws

Gear Options:
If 2/20 amulet is out of the budget you can go with maras for the 45fcr BP, or 2/10 + 10fcr ring.
3/20 gloves are an excellent choice if you do not need the resistances.
If you like to hit a faster FCR BP: Magefist, 2x FCR rings, 17FCR amulet and Cham in Griffon's
Boots can be changed for 30frw/tri res if needing or wanting. If doing so, get more 12fhr MA GCs to compensate.
Claws bases can differ. You will reach different FPA BP's on either skill charging up skills or Dragon Talon.

Inventory:
Annihilus
Torch +3 Sin
Crack of the Heavens Sunder
4x MA Lifers
2x MA 12FHR
5x SC Life/5@
3x SC Life/11LR
One MA Lifer can be changed for a Gheeds

Mercenary - Act2 Defensive
Infinity Eth Mancatcher/Thresher/GT/GPA
Chains of Honor COH Eth AP
Cure Eth Corona/Spired/Demonhead/Bone Visage

Skills:
Max: Phoenix Strike > Blades of Ice > Claws of Thunder > Fade
Dragon Talon until 6 kicks (30 points). Some people like keeping this as low as possible. But I like making sure every dies in one hit.
Weapon Block until 60% block (26 points)
Fist of Fire until 75% phys is converted into fire (25 points)
Tiger strike (rest into this)

Stats:
Enough Strength and Dexterity to wear gear.
Rest into Vitality.

Charges:
+2 PS
+3 BoI, CoT, FoF, CS and TS.

Notes:
The game has a bug where life and mana leech will not take effect if these numbers equal to high: Monster Health, Leech and Damage. Fist of fire will negate this issue.
Charges last 15 seconds from last hit. So if wave 3 in Throne Room spawns Hydra you gotta hit a random monster while waiting for wave 4.
The same thing while waiting for Diablo to spawn (here you can use Mind blast on the last seal boss, I prefer just hitting a monster in River of Flame).

FCR doesn't have a direct impact on Skill DPS like it would for like a Nova Sorc or Hammerdin.

FCR (Teleport)
65 fcr = 440 ms (11 frames)
102fcr = 400 ms (10 frames)
The game is built on 25 frames = 1second. So 1 frame is equal 40ms

3sk 5/5 lightning difference between 65fcr and 102fcr build.
Lightning DPS: 55,189
Lightning DPS: 46,927

With the higher damage I'm actually seeing slightly more monsters getting killed further away from the center of the screen.
Teleporting slower might be an annoyance for some. But if I look at my gameplay over lets say a 10 hours grind, generally I do slightly less failed teleport (teleport to far or into a wall).
Though I also mostly utilize my full screen to do long teleports. Generally see people playing only teleporting half of the screen in most cases.

It really depends on your playstyle, but for me at least I get a bit less stressful gameplay and at worst equal EXP/h.

It would be different if it was only solo Baalruns and Chaosruns. Then the 10% faster teleport would be beneficial.



Only because it 1 frame faster per charge in the start of each game.
