if u use torch 20 all atributions and mara and annihilius 20 atributions u dont need mage plate mate + shako 2atributions and u can use enigma no problem dusk ofc u need lvl 90

i am rocking mage plate because i literally don't have to put a single point into strength between torch/anni/enigma to rock a monarch.

Honestly, it doesn't matter too much since you'll probably be rocking an enigma and you'll be keeping your distance to throw them javas. You have to put in strength regardless for your Phoenix. BO/shout buffs from your barb can also make it irrelevant.

If you want to sell it later for demand/price sake and practical reasons in that economical sense, MP seems to be the way to go. Krakenshell may look good on her, but who wants to buy a kraken enigma? lol.

best enigma base for a javazon is Hustle.

PvM, the difference is fairly small and largely depends on the rest of your gear. If DS forces you to spend extra points in strength to equip it, you're wasting health by throwing away points that could go in vitality if you'd gone with the lower reqs MP. But if you'd need to spend those points anyway to get to 156 for a monarch, then DS has no downside (except visuals). Either way, javazon is so powerful and safe for PvM that ~100 HP or ~200 defense either way isn't a concern.

In my opinion ignoring any visual preferences the objectively best enigma for java is:

97-99: perfect dusk shroud
82-96: perfect wyrmhide
71-82: perfect scarab husk
65-71: perfect archon plate

Considering this i always make it in a mage plate so I can slam it on any character
