Basically boost your venom as high as possible and apply it with zeal and blade shield.
I like your approach. You have to consider the 0.4 seconds of venom. maybe u dont need to get zeal on lvl5 for the 5 hits with venom to be more effective, if u know what i mean.
I dont know if venom works with blade shield.

Maybe some Elemental Scs could push the dmg.
