It's impossible to drop I believe. As raise Skelly can't spawn on Necro heads after a certain Ilvl and that ilvl is below the required ilvl for a necro head to spawn with +2 to Necro skills. However you can farm catacombs for a +3 RS and + 3 SM 2 socket Necro head and make the splendor runeword.

I did research, you can find a rare bloodlord or succubus head and reroll it on a lvl 1 character to get +2 skill and +3 RS!! Maybe even get lucky and get some SM on there as well.

Uff this is extremely rare, because it can't drop naturally, and you need to math the thing to know exactly what clvl you need to be to better odds, that are also extremely low to begin with.

Ideally you want to end with a ilvl<11 Succubus skull or Bloodlord Skull (only those two can spawn a +5 raise skeleton) to avoid tier 3 staffmods unless you also want +3 skeleton mages or golen mastery on it.

TLDR If you want just maximun odds for +5 skeletons and don't care about any other staffmods, just use the recipe with a lvl1 mule, keep in mind the first couple of rerolls are worthless unless you started with a imbued succubus skull/bloodlord skull with a lvl8 char (and you could keep rerolling with that shame lvl8 char no problem).

I don't believe you. What source is that? +2 skills requires ilvl 40.

Act 2 tombs to act 3 upper kurast in normal should be able to net you a +4 skeleton head (rarer than all high runes combined).

Also, I'd like to see any shrunken head in the history of the quadrillion items that have dropped in Diablo 2 with +5 raise skeleton. I'd like to buy it too.

Impossible to find in the wild with ilvl. You have to craft one which is a process in itself. See Ford300Straight’s profile. I made a couple on LOD check my profile for one. Regardless, you’re looking at this from the wrong angle. If you want to maximize your skeleton potential then use a 3/3 splendor head on swap with AOKL. Thatll give you max bo/ bone armor potential as well as skeletons
