hello. im playing on pc. i'm wondering how long rooms stay for before they disappear after you exit the game?

The game map is generated when you enter the game and never changes. Enemies and interactive objects are loaded as you first enter map tiles and never unloaded, only made inactive when out of range, and areas will not reset until you join a new game. Items that are on the ground will disappear after a certain number of minutes, depending on their quality

A decently long time on d2r, honestly. I often leave a game for a couple minutes and go right back into it if the doorbell or phone rings or something

hi, i think maybe my question was worded a bit ambiguously. i guess my question is how long does a game that has been created last before disappearing after you exit that room/game.
for example, let's say i create a game and then i end up leaving that particular game/room. i'm wondering how many minutes i have to be able to log back into the same game before it disappears completely.

In normal d2 lod once you "permed" a game it would stay open for 5 minutes with no one in it. To perm it meant you stayed in it for at least approximately 2-5 minutes before saving/exiting

Ok after testing multiple games, 100% confirmed its 5 minutes.
I entered the games, stayed only 2 seconds and immediately left the game.
They stay open for exactly 5 minutes with no one in them, then are lost forever.
