Obviously it takes a lot of Dex to reach max block. Is it worth it? Are you guys giving up all that vit to hit max block with SS?

And if you are, are you toggling walk so that you don’t get the reduced block chance?

max block until youre geared enough then max vita: although, you can get 1 shot easier via spellcasters with max block....

My bad in original post, walking does not maintain any extra block. You will always lose 1/3 block chance while running or walking.

I guess that means, for the most part, your max block is only effective while standing still or teleporting into a mob.

At lvl 88 if I max block I feel like I'd only have around 700-800 life. And thats with pretty high end gear (shako, ss, etc, but no ani or torch). Probably less without charms.

Can anyone present the true pro/con scenarios? Someone mentioned that max block can block doll explosions. Things like this are interesting to consider.

Where is Vit over Max Block an advantage? One scenario I can think of is when you have a CTA offhand or BO in your party. That extra 250 hp becomes ~400-500 hp etc. At that point maybe the vit > max block?

maxblock lets you lose many life points
i try to kill every monster in distance since i can tele fast to a safe place so i dont need maxblock
if u have 105 fcr or more on sorc youre fast enough to tele trough most groups( fana groups attack fukkin fast sometimes and you could die with maxblock since u can get killed with 3 hits )
i like maxres some light absorb and vita max on 105 fcr sorc
