Scenario is the following:
You are being rushed through hell. You are paying 100 fg, which is standard price for that part of the ladder/league. You did not previously agree about any looting rules (e.g. rusher gets all the loot)

A hr drops at mephisto council at your feet.

Can you pick it up?
Does it go to the person doing the rush?
Is it FFA and it goes to who clicks first?

They're paying for the rush, not the mf service. If they are over by drops they are a shifty rushee.

Actually yeah, this is true. You shouldn't be anywhere near the loot as a rushee.

If no rules were agreed upon, it is FFA. If rules were agreed upon, it is the rusher's loot.

This is my point of view as well.

We were having a discussion on a different forum about this and I am wondering what the majority of the playerbase is thinking.

Some people are adamant that it is always the rusher's loot, but I do not understand that viewpoint.

Unless specifically stated, loot is FFA.

I've had some uniques/HRs drop when doing rushes, it happens. You can't get angry at a guy for picking up shit

I agree with this as well, rushees should rarely come close to the loot. But in this hypotethical scenario the loot drops right at their feet. Since they are paying good money for the service I think they are just as entitled to the drops as the person doing the rush. If I was doing a rush and someone picked something up in front of me (without being in my ass hunting for loot all during the loot), I would be okay with it. It would be a bummer, but still fair

Clearly the voters are Rushee's not Rushers. Its pretty universal that if youre leeching or being rushed you shouldnt touch loot.

However I do feel its the rushers responsibility to state this at start.

The only time my group changes on that is if someone is Paying for Baal or Chaos runs, we do rotations on who gets boss drops, and we do include paid leechers.

I am actually a bit torn. I think the rushee shouldn't be near the action, because for one thing they will probably get one hit killed. So in that sense, why would the rushee be there to loot something that dropped?
