Got some good gear on my ladder lightning sorc now.

Currently have a perfect vmagi, but was considering an enigma. I assume it's better, but it looks like I'd have to drop two sojs or hope for a 20 fcr caster ammy to hit the 117 fcr breakpoint.

Or am I mistaken and I should just replace the cmoon for a hoto or something?

ye, but cmoon complicates it. I assume you just gamble amulets till you fall on a 17+ caster?

Does enigma not imply that you go ES (str requirement for spirit)? If yes, you want frosties and sojs and - back in the old days - hoto for another 15% max mana. If you wanna sacrifice something, then probably drop frosties for mages, similar to nova (keep em sojs):

Act 2 Might Merc with Eth Infy + Eth Bulwark + Eth Treachery / Forty / Hysteria. If you play HC you can use Holy Freeze Merc for extra safety when teleporting.

You can use Frostburns also for extra Mana if you feel that you dont need Str / LAEK from Draguls. You can get some MF by using Changes + WT’s and fill inventory with MF sc’s and Gheed. Soc Griffon and Viper with either Litr RBF’s or if you get that new jewel soc Griffon with that and Viper with Lite RBF. Horizon boots are also viable opinion but personally i like MAEK.

Never thought about draculs for lightning tbh, interesting. Isn't enigma mega bis over viper if you can get the ammy though?

Enigma is great and one of best opinion for Sorc sure. Anyway iirc -5% ELR is more as damage wise than one more +1 skill what Enigma offers also Viper balances your all ress and gives fcr. Anyway Enigma gives massive STR for using Spirit but then using CMoon can be bit complicated, to get FCR bp i mean. Draguls are for +15 STR and Life After Each Kill so you don’t need use potions so much, like is Silks for Mana After Each Kill. Usually Enigma Sorcs uses Hoto to get missing FCR and Ress, but personally i prefer kill speed here.
