I need some help on a weapon choice for a cold sorc.

Current plan is to go ES / FO, but may change to blizzard in the end.

The question is this...

DF (30/ -5) vs -60 Doom vs Cold Orb (3 to cold/ 2 sorc skill, 3 to FO, 3 to CM or something similar with 2 sockets).

What would be the best option and why?

So these orbs just desired for lld’s?

with new jewel and sunder providing more -res there's more of a case to be made for df than before

Doom only matters for immunes so 60/5 = -12

The jewel is always at full power against broken immunes by sunder so you can have df 40%cold dmg / -10

Vs -12 no skill

Is there even a choice to be made there?

Doom would need -250res to start competing

Where do you saw Doom have 1/5 effectiveness ?

He doesn't know what he's talking about, Doom works like facets or holding Infinity.

Minus to enemy resist from gear is always 100% effective.
-60 from doom is -60.
