these are the following people and their battletag that are intentionally getting unsuspecting players killed in HC hell.

They create a cow game then stack big pile of cows at the red cow portal, and when take the red portal you get oneshot

saw like 6 guys get killed like that in 5 min. I did report them, but don't expect much will happen.

when you see them just leave the game. they are a cancer on the d2 community.

Their character names

Their battle tags

Be save out there. Don't trust anyone unless they are close friends.

Idk why you reported them.

Hot/Dirty tping is part of the community of hardcore. It sucks I guess, but reporting them because you don't like a part of the game is kinda childish.

Maybe cool down a little and take post #2s advice?

Hardcore doesn’t mean ‘anything goes,’ it means actions have consequences. There’s a difference between risk from the game and players deliberately griefing with exploit-like behavior. Hot TPing and portal trapping isn’t skill-based gameplay, it’s just low-effort griefing. Reporting that isn’t childish — it’s calling out behavior that degrades the community. If that’s ‘part of hardcore,’ it’s exactly the part that drives players away.

There is no exploit or exploit-like mechanics involved here. It might just be annoying griefing, but it's using intended game mechanics.

Though I'd imagine in d2r it's even worse because your character loads in before your load screen, when d2 was instant. If you want behavior like this to stop you'll have to change how the game plays completely and ActiVision Blizzard isn't going to do all of that.

Using intended mechanics doesn’t automatically make something legitimate gameplay — intent matters. Deliberately stacking mobs on a portal to force unavoidable deaths isn’t ‘hardcore risk,’ it’s engineered griefing. Hardcore is about managing danger you can react to, not dying during a load-in because someone set a trap you literally can’t counter.

And saying ‘Blizzard won’t fix it’ isn’t a defense — it just admits the behavior exists and relies on a technical limitation. Reporting it is exactly what players are supposed to do when mechanics are abused to bypass fair play

a what?

What tipped me off was the constant use of emdashes and the "it's not this, it's that" text.

I don't want to speak to someone who cannot even defend their own points.
