Im off to start a cold bowa, and I would like to know what gear to aim for, and perhaps also what breakpoints to aim for. Its for PVM.

Hits 75ias

Or

+Faith Bow + Cold amazon. No kidding.

Most important for damage is Infinity on the merc. Certainly try out using Mania (Hustle) on swap to proc Burst of Speed with Strafe. +Cold damage charms are actually quite good and you may also want +mana. Shako is nice for the +mana. Don’t write off using Faith.

But if I use faith instead, what items would you guys use together with it? And why use faith over ice?

Here’s an example setup that uses Faith:

Faith GMB
Enigma (could also use Fortitude)
Shako (15 ias jewel)
Highlord’s Wrath
3/20 gloves
Razortail
Raven Frost
Dual leech rare ring
Silkweave

Swap:
Mania to proc burst of speed with Strafe

Merc:
Infinity
Fortitude
Andariel’s

Charms for all res, cold damage, mana, +bow skills, or +max damage

After you switch from Insight to Infinity you gain a ton of damage but mana becomes an issue.
