In their infinite wisdom blizzard decided that since melee builds are by far the best builds in the game and in no way struggle to keep up with casters, melee builds should be gatekept from herald farming by adding a new "Iron Maiden" to the heralds. At least like this the gap between the overpowered melee builds and struggling casters like nova sorcs and hammerdins isn't as big.

Yeah it's just wild to put thorns, when they removed iron maiden initially.

yeah wrecked my WW barb, but now when I face thorns heralds I put on SoE and stormshield and they go down with no prob
