I'm using it with echoing strike and i can bet you my balls that i'm not by any means leeching 20%

I think when you have the hex's hit a monster, you can leech while they are hexed.

But i'm already using hex siphon, i should be getting my whole orb full in one hit.

even if the math worked exactly like it says, 20% of 920 dmg is 184

so unless you have 200 hp ur not fulling your orb in one hit

I'm not doing 900 damage, i'm doing 90.000.

not with eldritch blast youre not

It's not a hex like siphon/bane/purge

My guess is the duration listed on the skill is the amount of hex duration that is refreshed, and the life/mana leech is based off the Eldritch blast skill damage

But it's definitely not like you tag them with blast then get leech for 42 second duration with echo strike

You cast it and stand next to the monster you hexed

It’s a garbage skill. Basically small aoe that hits every few seconds. Can combine it in a cleave build but you shouldnt.

So it only works in that small area where yo spawn those purple tentacles?
