I'd like to know if this skill is based on cast speed or attack speed (similar to the barbarian throwing skill)? And I'd like to know if the Hex: Purge skill has a poison effect.

Echoing strike is FCR, not sure on purge

Using a botd with a Colossus Blade base, for example, wouldn't be advantageous since it has 60% AI, and the skill isn't based on that. What type of weapon would be appropriate for this build?

Only Fort Thundermaul / war pike maybe, and then for cheaper option Insight in CV

I’ll give you full rundown real quick, few different build options
FCR BP’s you want to build around are 75 or 125, 125 only obtainable with insight build, or if you have a lot of fg for 2/20 ammy or 2/20 circlet

Weapon choices are insight (35 fcr) or eth thundermaul fort (25 fcr) then build around this and the following gear to get to 75 or 125

Arach (20 FCR)
Spirit/Mephisto book for fcr (SS if hardcore and want max block)
Highlords
FCR ring with LL (don’t need ML cause of insight)
Gore riders/New WraithStep boots
Depending on total FCR you might need Trang-oul gloves to hit BP
Other ring BK or another 10 fcr/LL ring if need FCR for 125
Enigma
2/20 Circ or Shako or COA for Hardcore


Yes pride might merc
And for demon you want Amp Damage + Fanat Heph
