Join a discord for Clone hunters. Most d2r discord groups have a bot that can notify you when a region changes clone status, the message in game that tells you "terror approaches sanctuary" or whatever. So you see that Asia is status 4 of 6 and can get online and wait.

Linking discord is insta banned in jsp, so you'll have to search for a d2r clone hunter discord by yourself.

I've almost exclusively played classic but I'm playing RoTW because.. new shiny things. you know?

Can someone explain to me like I'm 5 how/where to track down this d-clone so I can hope to not get wasted on HC and collect an anni?

any super unique you haven't killed so you can choose where you want to fight him i believe or he could appear in front of you.

I can't remember if you have to go to a new act or wp.

Is there a specific duration of time for the event? Would I be able to do it on multiple characters to collect multiple charms?

You just have to be in a hell game when he spawns, if you follow my instructions earlier you don’t even have to kill him people do it for you, they spawn and kill for you
