It's been some days now since ladder started.
I keep doing the same thing. Buying blizz thinking "I'll kill andariel and mephisto".

Well dont get me wrong, When it hits, it HITS!
But if the monsters are close to a wall or a pillar, it just doesnt hit at all.
Another problem is the Survivability, cold vita is really squishy. Like REALLY squishy, i probably did 300 baalruns so far and died alot to souls.
So, dont spend for cold sorc, just buy an infinity and go es/nova.
Famous last words this season.

Constantly dies to souls, spends his cash on 5/5 facets and bis cold gear but doesn't buy wisp projector, what is this strategy called?

"constantly" would be the wrong term.
I've cleared so many thrones PACKED with souls. But it requires movement and correct teleport + sidesteps.
Nova/Es is just so much easier, and Nova "stuns" the monsters, vs blizzard doesnt hit, and souls cannot be frozen.

My baalruns has literally been called "The best runs I've joined in a long time" by many players every single time I choose to host some.
But yes, I should probably sacrifice 10 fcr vs lightning abs When hosting baalruns or going tz with souls in it.

I always run low res, I like the challenge lol
The main problem here is that blizzard doesnt hit, not necessarily the suvivability, tho it is kind of squishy and 50 souls would oneshot most players.
