Hey everyone,

I’m building a new Echoing Strike Warlock and looking for advice on gear and skill setup, especially for a low-to-mid budget ladder build. I can’t afford Enigma yet, so I’m aiming for something solid and efficient without high-end runewords.
For those who’ve played it successfully:
- What gear setup worked best for you?
- Did you go with Arioc’s Needle or Insight, and why?
- How did you prioritize stats — is IAS or FCR more important for this build?
- Any recommended skill distribution that felt especially smooth for leveling and early endgame?

I don’t have a ton of time to test multiple variants, so I’d really appreciate a proven setup that performs reliably.

I’ve checked this guide already, but I’m still unsure about the gear choice:

Thanks in advance for any pointers!

Self wield insight. Cheap and hits breakpoints. Insight spirit and literally any other items will face roll p8. Get a demon with curse and make sure you have your loot filter set up and profit

For leveling just run fire through nightmare. Swap to echoing strikes for hell and beyond.

What do you consider low to mid budget?

IMO just use insight either way. Decent damage, the fcr helps to hit breakpoints, has crit strike. My offline hardcore warlock atm is using insight, shako, vipermagi (will obviously upgrade to enigma when I get another… ripped my char with my precious), etc.

Ias is irrelevant for echoing strikes. Only fcr matters.

exactly. I had just a normal eth insight cv, rest was cheap budget stuff like smoke armor (neflum), goldwrap, chanceguards, spirit, random 10fcr ring etc to reach 75fcr breakpoint

i could easily farm p8 tz

for leveling just leech, plenty of ppl will let you leech privates for drops.
No need to even bother respec, its just slower.

On a physical echoing strike warlock, after you get like 40 points for 5 hits with mirrored, you really dont need any gear. Faster Cast rate helps a ton though. The damage is scaled so high you can kill the game naked. It's not a hard build to play currently.

If you need an insight for leveling I probably have an exceptional I can toss for you. But yea a 1-60 crush is pretty cheap at this point

Idk folks can do what they want but you get 3-free respecs and warlock is one of the strongest levelers in the game. The idea that’ll I’ll just join games hoping everyone else carries me when I should be the strongest character there to save a single free respec seems… unecessary.

ok and time is money, so efficiency matters, and a grush into leeching is the fastest way to level period.
Only difference is you can't buy time.

if you enjoy leveling thru norm/nm go right ahead, no one is telling you its wrong, its just inefficient.
