I’m full tals blizz mf sorc and need to know what to run on my merc (more specifically helm and armor)

Wep- eth thresh Insight (happy with this)
Helm- Cure, Bulwark or Andy’s? (currently Cure in eth demonhead)
Armor- Treachery, Fort or Coh? (currently Treach in 670def base)

Also Might or Defiance?

He got no lifesteal

Just go with Prayer Merc + Cure + Insight

Gives crazy healing synergies

Then the guy is healing you and himself all the time while you are porting around

Prayer over the defense from Defiance?

Of course!

Defiance Merc is trash

Holy Freeze > Defiance

If you have Cure + Insight

Prayer > Holy Freeze > Defiance

And Might is not useful either
If you have troubles with immunes just skip them

merc wont be a full tank without big gear and bo, but you currently have no life steal

with any setup
teleport your merc away
give it pots - rejuv costs less than 50k

the big problem on treachery is, without that fate proc its garbage...

imo best combo with cold sunder is:
act2 prayer merc, eth elite cure, eth elite coh (eth upp'd um'd 7ll "skin of the flayed one" will work too, if u can get a cheap one to dodge the ber rune for coh)

without cold sunder i would go for act2 might/holy freeze merc, eth "andariel's visage" at least ral'd, if no ias/fr jewel in hand and eth elite forti

non eth variants are good too

for cheap:
tal mask or cot or 8ll gaze and griswolds armor socket with ral, ort, tal, thul (cot already have fire res)


always have the life pool from merc in ur eyes, to give him pots with short keys or tele back

if u want a tanky merc just as a blocker and u can give up insight, full sazabi act5 is great

If you have a coh just sitting there, you'd be a fool to use anything else for your merc.
