So it's painfully obvious with the current ladder being live and the current forum count:
Softcore browsing count: 400 or less
Hardcore browsing count: 200 or less

This season's ladder is dead already and it's only been about 27 hours. I had a guy trade me within the first 5 hours of ladder 20 jah and 20 ber and offer to sell them to me for $50. Said he has a company of about 100k "employees" working for him. Also did a free lobby with a guy using "pickit" who picked up every item before it was even dropped from my inventory, full sigons sets, manalds, nagels, and the sorts, and vendor them all to akara, fucking over the lobby.

What do you guys think caused this player count drop to happen? Besides the obvious that we're not allowed to talk about.

Diablo 2 is ~25 year old game. What else do you except ?

D2R sold 5 million copies around it's release and is 4 years old. Stop with this nonsense.

e: and Diablo 2 released 2000, this ”new” D2R is same game and ~80% of players are like same, game didn’t get anything new to keep these players intrested about this. There are private servers like Annihilus, Path of Diablo and even Diablo Slash which made this same game very better back in days. So your whining topics here on the forum are useless crying, everyone know these facts and if you don’t then you are just a dumb.

I thought it was pretty weird cause unlike last season there isn’t a POE2 release.

I’ve only been playing pubs and it’s the same exact people. It’s like i’m in the fucking Twilight Zone… Only 12 people exist in Hell on NA HC I guess..?

Yeah, jsp at this point is irreparably damaged because the botting problem. Unfortunately now the botters now have hundreds of millions of FG and all the sites economy has funneled into the wallets of the top botters.

They trashed the game and allowed rampant botting, what did you expect?

Quick fixes:
Nerf mosaic
Ban bots
TZ all zones and make them harder with increased density and Reduced max level of the mobs
Improve PvP by reverting the crap changes they introduced with D2R
Revamp “bad” rune words and uniques to be desired and make them ladder only for a few ladders
