I tried Maul Druid vs Ubers, and I just killed them and got a torch. So my challenge has been completed for this season

Uber Baal was a nightmare. Baal's spell is annoying but OK with drinking pots. The biggest issue was those ghost which burn mana.

Original gears vs Baal:
Jalal, Grief PB, Tiamat's Rebuke, Metalgrid, Treachery, Dracs, Dwarf, SoE, Raven, Gorerider

Bought while Ubering, lol:

Gears when I managed to kill Uber baal:
Gface, Azurewrath(UM'd while Ubering, lol), Tiamat's Rebuke, Metalgrid, Treachery, Dracs, Dwarf, SoE, Raven, Gorerider

Without Azurewrath, I couldn't have killed Uber Baal. Yes, my original thought was Azurewrath is on a5 Merc, but he was chasing a mob and went away from me, so I was outside of his aura range, then ghosts burned my mana.

How should I take care of this situation? Appreciate your inputs. ty.

Yes, Lawbringer or Azure is the way to go when Uber Baaling, unless you smiter then it's anyway EZ

Lawbringer/Azure has almost no dmg vs Uber Baal

It took me like 15 mins to get the torch. The life bar was almost nothing, then the next frame it came back to | |

Lawbringer could be decent, it also has that Decrepify proc. But i guess you need life tap to survive?

Not sure if Lawbringer can finish Uber Baal. I guess UM in Azurewrath finished it...

I'm thinking Azurewrath on me, and another Azurewrath/Kingslayer on a5 merc, hoping merc hits Uber Baal and proc Open Wounds.

Wait, 2x Azurewrath on a5 merc, then I use Fleshripper instead. Hmmm... worth a try

If you're using Dracs and some shoe with open wound, this should suffice already. Once open wound is activated, it takes some time before the effect wears off. Additional OW from Um in your sword doesn't make a big difference.

Some builds manage a very quick kill with Amplify damage. Maybe lacerator is a good option as well. I can imagine that Decrepify alone plus some life leech should be good too. Definitely would need to test it a bit

Thx for your comment. As you can see, I used Dracs and Gore, but not enough for some reason. After adding an UM, it was slightly better.

I'll try double Azurewrath, once I got 13 sanc one, oh and need some more keys, lol
