hey i'm looking for any advice on Frozen Orb/ES sorc for HC
looking for gear should I wear for clean all 8p content or mostly TZ
thinking is hc should I use Gerke or Stormshield? DF vs Hoto? NW is the only one for sure
what about FCR? I think with 105 will be enough

what about skills? full telekinesis for ES? how many points on ES?
I know Cold mastery is capped on 37points (-200)

help me please thx

Orb is exceptionally weak in PvM unfortunately, especially considering you're looking for a P8 build.

Blizzard is the way to go wo th regards to Cold Skills.

I think frozen orb in p8 is a bad idea…

Just go with another meta build like nova es infinity.

you dont do frozen orb anymore.

i used to play fo orb every season as well with super awesome gear in order to make up for the lack of damage.

but since last patch blizzard has nerfed cold spells which resulted in frozen orb dealing about 50% less damage against cold immune monsters.

it used to be playable in p3 with decent pace, but as of now frozen orb is just garbage in >p1

Damn I'm really boring about blizzard :S try make a Nova but is so expensive, and I cant see any good guide for gear and hc plays, some says ES is the best and others says is worst, do you know any nice guide for hc? must have decent dmg and tanky for 8p, thats hard

if u wanna have fun with frozen orb i suggest u build a frozen orb/blizz hybrid and put all points in fo. Not sure if it will work with es though, since u need more points to spend on skills but u dont really need es, just get max block

no you dont just hav fun with frozen orb. you go out and destroy universes withf rozen orb

Put points in ice bolt, frozen orb, blizz, telek, es, and cm
You won't have enough points for everything, but blizz and orb will do decent dmg.
More in es and telek = survivability
More in cold skills = dmg

Agreed with above. Orb won’t get you clearing p8. Lightning is good. Fire is also feasible if you’re dead set against blizz. The only build that gives you enough points for es is nova. Otherwise, just dress up a little tanky and giv’r
