D2R NT Zealot Ladder

This GM Melee Ladder is focused on Zealots and the ZPK style of dueling.
All we ask is for people to have fun and enjoy themselves during the duels.

How does this work?

➜ Characters allowed to play this ladder: Zealots.
➜ A challenge will be first to 15.
➜ You may change gear twice during a match. You must announce this to your opponent by saying "swap 1 or swap 2" during a match. When someone announces a swap, the other party can only swap after a single duel takes place.
➜ Using a token during a challenge is not permitted. If found using a token, it results in an immediate challenge loss and a warning will be issued. If this occurs after a warning you may be removed and banned from future events.
➜ Duels will take place in the Inner Cloister.
➜ All challenges must be in Normal Difficulty.

Challenge system - PLEASE READ - IMPORTANT

➜ You are allowed to challenge 1-2 ranks above you until you get to #1.
➜ To issue a challenge you must PM your opponent, then post in thread. Discord is also accepted as a PM.
➜ If you issue a challenge and win, you must wait 12 hours to issue another challenge.
➜ If you issue a challenge and lose you must wait 24 hours to issue another challenge, or 48 hours to rechallenge the same person.
➜ If you are challenged and win, you can issue a challenge immediately.
➜ If you are challenged and lose, you must wait 24 hours to issue a challenge.
➜ 3-Day Dodge rule NO EXCEPTIONS (AFK, No-reply, No-show = Auto-loss) 2 consecutive Dodges**= Removed from ladder.
➜ If you cannot complete your challenge on time, you can request a 24 Hour day extension. It is your responsibility to PM your challenger to inform them and then post in thread asking for an extension. If you fail to do this, the dodge rule will be enforced.
➜ If neither of you post why it wasn't completed, its a dodge for the challenged individual. NO EXCEPTIONS.
➜ GM melee rules apply to all duels. If you have any questions about the rules, post. Any rules not covered in this post are subject to referee/admins discretion and will be considered final.

General Rules

- Do not angle (both parallel to the inner cloister lines)
- Do not prebuff (this means no using +all skill items in inventory/cube to boost BO)
- Do not use slow.
- Do not enchant.
- Do not pot.
- Do not run.
- Do not use knockback.
- Do not use items that emit auras which affect player vs. player (PVP) and cause physical and/or elemental damage.
- Do not emit the holy freeze aura.
- Do not cast item/torch charges.

Gear and Equipment Prohibitions

Weapon Rules
Any weapon that casts amplify curses, have slow or emit auras that cause damage/holyfreeze are prohibited.

List of Prohibited Weapons:
Grief
Doom
Any weapon that casts amplify damage.
Any weapon that causes slow, for example: Eternity Runeword, Astreon's Ward.

Armor/Jewelry Rules
Any armor or jewelry that casts amplify damage, weaken, life tap, lower resists, decrepify.
Any armor that cast enchant, for example: Lavagouts.
Any armor that slows, for example: Blackhorn's and Nosferatu's Coil.
Any armor that applies knockback.
Any ethereal armor with no self repair mod or zod rune (breakable armor).
Any facet jewels are not permitted.

List of Prohibited Armors & Jewelry:
Any armor and jewelry that falls in the above rules.

Inventory:
Poison damage in any charm.

In depth rule explanations - PLEASE READ

Game creation - Games will be created in Normal Difficulty.

Starting Duel - Both players must shift attack towards each other to commence the duel.

Miss-Clicking - Continue fighting - if there is a continuous issue of missclicking, you will be given a loss for that duel and potentially removed from the ladder.

Chilling Armor - You can keep CA on the entire duel. The way to remove it is to kill your opponent.

Holyshield - Do not cast holyshield prior to gear swap. If you do, you have to be killed to remove holyshield.

Running into/during Duel - Re-duel, warning to the offender, if it happens again a point goes towards the party.

Draws - If a player kills each other at the same time by melee swings it is a draw. No point awarded to either player. EXCEPTION: If Player A kills Player B. Then if Player A dies by Player B's torch. Player A is awarded the point.

Gear Swaps - If a swap is declared by player A. Player B cannot declare a swap until one duel has been completed. This is designed to stop a stash dance where both players declare a swap and wait for the other player to enter the Cloister.

Gear Checks - You can request a gear check from your opponent. They must submit a screenshot to you via discord of their inventory/character, there does not need to be any stats shown, just a visual. This must occur BEFORE going to stash and is a ONE time use per player per match. If you make this request, you cannot request to swap gear for at least two duels.
