D2R and legacy both dead. They need to close down legacy instead of splitting the community.

Closing down d2r would keep the vastly better version of the game alive.

fully agreed. there's no reason to have two versions of a 20+ year old game. Looks like they're taking a page out of Runescape's book.

this would be true if blizzard did what they actually claimed they were going to do with d2r
