Is there a pvp community on Asia? Moving to Japan next week and hoping to not have to quit Diablo. If you have any info please send it my way.

i believe you may want to check this out for d2lod, not sure how things will look on the D2R official realms in japan but i'm interested in seeing what your game list looks like as far as ping indicators when you get there.

The game is dying even in the western world blizzard butchered a great game. Why on earth would you think they pk in asia

found some duel games, its mostly ppl spamming juvs and slow missile though haha glad theres atleast something

Judging from how popular the Asian marketplace is compared to American markets such as jsp, you should not only be able to find sufficient dueling but even more than you have been here in the US. the problem is whether you can speak the native languages (mostly Korean or Chinese).

Just to break this down for you, there is like well over 10,000 people looking at any single Asian marketplace for D2R at any given time each night
Jsp is down to ~300 each night for NL and Ladder, probably with overlap so thats ~500

Asian community is way more active and into this game than Americans, period

edit/ the other problem is that Asian players have completely different rules than American PVP especially for gm duels. It's gonna be completely foreign to you for a while. In particular, the way they are allowed to stack poison damage is pretty wild and will take some getting used to.
