Pressing a quick cast button acts as if you had pressed any other button when holding a name lock and doesn't go back to the original held button (ie right or left click) once you let go of the quick cast, dumping the lock.

so.. if anyone was worried about the impact this would have on pvp, I don't think it will have use in higher level play when it comes to chain locking. At least from what I saw with some basic tests. Don't quote me maybe someone will find some new glitch or tech with it.

It's pretty useful in PVM, though. I enabled to test it out in chaos sanctuary and dropped a Sur

but idk feels trash to play with, would be nice if u can have certain spells on quickcast/modifier for it, in its current state its pretty trash

i told you what i tested in the op. if you dont get what im saying and the functionality of quick cast is enough for how you pvp then dw about it. im not worrying about it.

it's literally like throwlock

go try it and see if it will hold the lock. If you have a sin try mindblasting something then setting up a trap with them off screen, then going to a tele. It just dumps the lock. Try the same thing without quick cast and have all those binds on right click and don't let go of right click at any point and see what happens. it'll work. with quick cast it dumps the lock after you switch to a trap.

Confirmed, I tested the same thing. Also cant telestomp some one off screen that you have name locked, just drops the lock and does a shitty tele.
