I just found out that the d2jsp community bans using paladin Exile shield as it has life tap.

According to what I remember from long time ago (when I was playing Asia server 1), unless you are using a third party program(hacks), you were allowed to use any legal items dropped in normal ways.

I am not a smiter myself, but forcing smiters to fight hdin without any life tap would be more unfair than smiters using tap to recover their health if they managed to get close to hdin using micro controls.

Wtf is life tap?

I mean, with the logic banning exile, other items should be banned too. Enigma, call to arms. etc.

One of the necromancer curses. When the victim is under life-tap, then anyone inflicts melee damage on the victim will recover their HP.

tap is bm pvp unless its smite vs smite

tap is gm for smiters i think on pvp tourneys and ladders
