hey, so I'm not looking for smoke on this, but if classes that can use fanat, stunlock, and ignore stun have bumped up in power, and all the other classes were basically nerfed by the removal of wsg, shouldn't we really be looking at previous restrictions that were set on the classes that are hurt the most by this?
Obviously any suggestions or disagreements, whatever, any of that the floor is open, but starting with something easy- plague jav and bone wall.
Like I understand why these two things are frowned upon. But... If the new strat for these classes to survive against the buffed classes is to play defensively, doesn't it kiiiiind of make sense to give them back the tools they need to actually excel at this?
If I'm going to get locked into oblivion if they catch me as a javazon where I generally need to be a lot closer to kill my target, isn't giving me poison to stand a better chance against when I'm in a situation where I can just get locked and killed for free the right call?
If I'm playing a necro where my zoo can basically be split from me for free and I can't even wsg out and try to bone spear or TT to stack my zoo, doesn't it make sense that I have that extra defensive wall for me to try and survive against that barb that's trying to stomp me?
I know it's a little bit easy to kind of knee jerk reaction and say "oh idk this rando from west" or "oh it's always been this way just get gud" but like, what the hell, right? What are these classes supposed to do now against fanat, stunlock, and loss of wsg? It's not even a get good, it's literally just run? So why not make them better at running?
Idk, open to suggestions or disagreements. And ftr I havent spent any FG on kitting my guys out for d2r because wtf is a ber for 4k fg, so maybe I'm way off the mark compared to people living this in private and public games.
