Hey all,

I am interested in setting up biweekly or monthly tournaments for D2R and wanted to see what rules you guys think need to be changed in order for it to be as balanced as possible in the new game.

I know that many of you prefer D2L to D2R with the removal of WSG and other things, so please don't flame me as I'm not claiming D2R is better or worse for duels, I get it I'm a scrub bk randy. I really just want to try to create something fun for the community and I think it could bring in more new people to the community as there is a large influx of players trying out D2 because of the new remaster.

Also, I know most are mfing and trying to find their bis gear for their builds rn since the game just came out, so I will be planning this for the future when dueling is more common.

So with all that said I'll reiterate,

1) what changes to tournament rules should be made, what could be changed that's considered BM/GM
2) what sort of rewards (fg will be the main payouts obv) would you guys like to see for tournaments to make it more worth competing?
3) any other comments or concerns that I should be aware about while trying to set up this thing.

I don't believe they have, I don't really see blizzard adding it back to the game but we can hope.

Too early to make tournaments when not only people haven't made their chars yet but they haven't tested the matchups against other chars in the post-wsg era to make changes considered gm or bm

That's true, I don't expect to be making tournaments right now I figured it would be a little ways away as, like you said, its too early rn. I suppose I'll have to ask these questions again in the future but I was mostly wondering if there were any glaringly obvious rules and what not that should be added

You are a bit early. It will take some extensive testing yet. Too much fg to be made to duel and test

As long as you know bi weekly means twice a month, I don't care about the rest.

yes I know what biweekly is ty, no need to comment something useless like this. the idea and questions are pretty straight forward imo
