yeah I've been smiting since like 04, got really into it in grief runeword days, trust me vortex is hands down the worst base I've tried for tourney and pub pk

Dude, I've been playing this game since it's inception, actually still have the demo on my old harddrive. No need to try and measure your dick here, I've got you beat. ED on hoz literally makes no difference for smite damage. Vortex is the worst block % out of any of the shield bases you mentioned, and has the lowest Min dmg on spread. SR is the perfect balance for dmg spread and block % chance. Hands down. If you have a smiter and you want to pvp please send me a game name.

Literally slap on your vortex and pm me a game name, I'm not gonna argue with a trade spawn. Let your vortex base do your talking for you.

If you haven't seen my thread I have more than enough dex for max block from my gear alone. Vortex is so mid 00's when people didn't know how to build a viable smiter. People thought the max dmg top end was something to champion, but in reality a vortex hits lower end more often than not, trust me when I say I've actually tested dmg spreads on every base. And if you want to put your money where your mouth is, we can post in legit dueling for a FG wager.
