Wow its great to see such uplifting people in this community i sure did not expect or know what i was getting myself into signing up here. This post caught my eye because I've been trying to get my son to go to rehab for quite some time now, really ever since he started playing Diablo 2 actually but he always refused to go. Ricks mother and I strongly believe he refused to go due to his severe male pattern baldness at such a young age. The balding isn't his fault though, it was caused by the helmet the doctor required him to wear 24/7 during his entire childhood, it turns out it was made from asbestos. He was only able to remove the helmet to shower, which was once or twice a week, we never were even sure if he showered to just went in there to masturbate since he always seemed a little greasy. In Ricks teen years he picked up skateboarding which was a surprise to his mother and I since Rick had no coordination or athletic ability we knew something was up. Turns out Rick only used skateboarding to justify to his friends why he always wears a helmet so he didn't get bullied in school. It wasn't until about age 27 Rick brought home a girlfriend , his mother and i were so proud, that is until we learned it was just one of his skateboarding buddies with long hair named Mark. Now 42 we still are unsure about Ricks sexual preference since every time we bring up the subject he uses words like "eww" and "yucky" he actually still believes in "cooties" as well. Good luck with your friend Jess, hopefully my son will read this and see how disappointed his family is and will have a change of heart and give rehab a try. And son, if you're reading this we love you and miss you and I'm sorry I was gone for so many years, that Wal-Mart line was no joke
