Looking for some input on why some characters better then others, Its interesting that I have 75% block and 75 Resist but still get Pk'd ???

what did they do to change the game. this two decades, would like to catch up with whats current, I have a assasin trap build, im not sure if it is more for pvm or pvp but my damage is 15k but some people are not effected by my lightning sentry, so im curious what they are using
to not be effected by a very powerful skill?
