Greetings all! I've been on a D2 hiatus for some time and in my return I've found that there is a shortage of good duels. Both on Ladder and non ladder.
With that said I would like to propose a classic tournament that will be tracked using https://challonge.com/ and updated weekly of results.
I would like this to be a fairly large tournament that would consist of the first month of next ladder as preparement. Now a few things for me to consider are what type of tournament would boast the best turn out? Class vs Class duels are great but are lack luster when it comes to builds and uniqueness. I've seen in these forums some other common duels such as specific build types like Zeal vs Zeal or Bash vs Bash. Personally I love the idea of a melee tournament there would be certain restrictions of course but that opens the field for many different styles and builds to be shown off. Entering the tournament would be free but the winner would get something of value, I'm thinking either a FG award which I would pay for personally or a special signature made on the winners behalf something nice that says "Classic East 2020 PvP Champion" that is to be decided. What I need everyone to do is please fill out this survey so I can judge interest and decide what will be the best type of tournament. Again this would be a few weeks into the start of ladder so that everyone has something to work for and towards. I look forward to seeing everyone's results in the survey!Best,
