Welcome to the Official Melee Necromancer tournament (AKA King of Witches) sign up thread!

This is the sign up page for the tournament that starts this Halloween. Monday, October 31st 2016.
Our main purpose here is to get the community started, practicing, and signed up!

This is our first annual daggermancer event so I hope to see everyone!!
We encourage all active gm melee pkers to participate!
Please try and spread the word so we have the maximum amount of fun!
You will have over four months to put your witch together so if you are new to the art you have plenty of time.

To participate in this tournament, all you have to do is sign up!
Send extra pot donations to Picker.
When sending the pot donations, please use the description "KOWE" for east or "KOWW" for west.
I will be making a personal contribution of 1,000fg to the each pot to get things started.
We hope for some other large donations to make things more high-stakes and fun!!
Don't forget about those trophies!!!!

~!~ This tournament will have a large pot reward for our top 3 melee necromancers ~!~

This is the payout format:

☆ 1st place – 60% Total donations

☆☆ 2nd place – 30% Total donations

☆☆☆ 3rd place – 10% Total donations

This will be a Swiss style tournament.
The winner of each match will be determined by a 2/3 of first to 5 (2/3FT5).
Each participant duels at least 4 other players in the tournament

We will not be allowing some items:

Unperms
Enchant items
Venom items
Slow target items
Knockback items
Eth items that are not self-repair
Blackbog's Sharp Cinquedeas
Fleshripper Fanged Knife
Arachnid Mesh Sash
* Banned items subject to change as we test further

A few more rules:

▪ You can have throwing knives, you just can't throw them.
▪ All matches will be conducted in Hell difficulty in the Inner Cloister.
▪ Gear changes are allowed, unless both players agree and say it is not okay.
▪ Do not prebuff bone armor or other skills inside of town.
▪ Outcomes will be posted in the event thread with verification of both duelers.
▪ Each player may call "misclick" or "mc" twice per duel, to signal a redo of the fight.
▪ All pot donations are final. No refunds.
▪ No third party programs.

Witch Specific Rules:

▪ Each player chooses a curse and gets to cast it on their opponent during the battle orders phase!
▪ You must use the poison dagger skill only.
▪ No bears, wolves, or nonnec classes.
▪ No cap on poison res stacks.
▪ No cap on maximum poison res.
▪ No cap on poison length reductions.
▪ No cap on damage reduction %'s.
▪ No cap on poison damage small charms.
▪ No more than 300 total non-poison elemental damage.
