This is the compromise me / aoz / half-naked / and kickmaster911 thought of.

The rule:
Cap the amount of stacked cold resist allowed. How to test this? Do a juv test. Have both players go in Bmoor and drop a bunch of juvs for the ft5 near town. To confirm the other player is not stacked simply blizz them and see how much their life goes down. Once its confirmed, have the other sorc juv up and start the duel.

The options:
Cap at 250 max CR
Cap at 300 max CR
Cap at 350 max CR
Cap at 400 max CR

i say use the cold stack rules from the nl svs ladder, with that it takes 9-10 hits to kill

if you set cap @ 250 res, then it will be 2-3 hit ko
everyone will go make es/orbers bc es will be the only way to deal with that vs anyone competant on a blizzy and l8z orb will rock vitas without res

do you really want an es/orber ladder? exactly, no one wants that

a sorc that is super stacked usually causes them to cut their own dmg like in half, didnt see anyone point that out

yep for a fber usually takes off at least 500 life and at least 5kfg...
i would be about 2.8k and 15k w/ 500 stack
allthough i only use about... 350-400 depending... none of the blizzers know how to play neways...

I updated the list with the added 400, even though I don't like it -- its still a start towards capping a BM rule.

the #1 sorc even said a top fire sorc can still do 15k fb dmg with that much stack... thats still less than 6 hits to kill a sorc imo

my fber takes 7 hits of 24-26k fireballs... so... wrong

would be 12-13 hits w/ 15k

250 cap = -100 res
350 cap = 0 res AT MOST

if you die in 6x hits to 15k fb you need to fix ur build

i was estimating

either way the FB casting speed vs blizz is still much higher.. comparing 1 fb vs 1 blizz hit is kind of ridic
