Tournament Schedule and Rules:
- The tournament begins on Sunday, March 22nd, and ends on April 26th.
- The tournament will use the Swiss format.
- Matches are scheduled every Sunday at 9:00 PM CET, with each week representing one round.
- Players competing in the Swiss format must complete their matches immediately on Sunday. Matches cannot be delayed, postponed, or rescheduled. All Swiss rounds are required to be played at the designated time on Sunday without exception.
- Maximum: 16 teams (32 participants).
Format and Scoring System
:
- The winning team receives 1 point, and the losing team receives 0 points.
- The tournament will use a Swiss format. In this system, teams are matched against opponents with similar records each round (for example, teams with 1-0 face other 1-0 teams, while 0-1 teams face other 0-1 teams). This helps keep matches competitive throughout the tournament.
- Because of the 1 point / 0 points scoring, rankings stay clear and easy to follow, while the Swiss format keeps the competition balanced by ensuring that teams with similar performance levels play against each other. It also means teams can stay competitive even after an early loss, since they will continue playing against teams with similar results rather than being eliminated immediately.
