SS vs SS Ruleset

This ruleset includes All-Class rules, adapted for SS ladder play.
Where BDM and SS rules conflict, SS rules apply.

General Rules
• GM rules are always in effect.
• Duels can be standard or NMFG. Both parties must agree. If you cannot agree, standard rules are in effect.
• All wereform classes allowed (Fury, Maul, Bear Barb, Wolf Barb, Beardin, Bearsin, Bearzon, Necrobear, etc.).
• Shockwave referee allowed but optional.
• No tokens during a match (auto DQ).
• Recasting Sage allowed if it dies mid-duel (but Fury cannot use Sage vs non-Fury).
• Reshifting only allowed in Fury vs Fury.
• Location: Inner Cloister, Normal difficulty.
• Format: First to 6 wins, must win by 2. Best of 3 sets.

Strictly Prohibited
• Slow effects, Enchant, or any potions
• Knockback, item charges, or aura items that add elemental/physical dmg
• Prebuffing (including Cube BO) (Bears may prebuff with Beast in cube ONLY)
• Running (walk only)
• Strength bugging (must be able to loot gear)
• Bad manner acts (stalling, griefing, etc.)

Gear Rules

Weapons
• Max 300 elemental dmg / 100 poison dmg (150 poison allowed in balance update).
• No Amplify Damage procs.
• Ethereal items must be Zod or self-repair (throw javelins exempt).

Armor / Helms
• Circlets must have <100 poison dmg.
• Armor may not break GM rules or cast Enchant.
• Andariel’s Visage allowed.
• Life Tap gear banned.
• Ethereal armors without Zod or repair are banned.

Item Swap
• Up to 2 swaps per match

Match Procedures
• Start signal: Shift + Attack
• Misclicks: Duel continues unless both agree restart
• Stopping early while shifting for range = cheating
• Gear checks may be requested at any time
• Leaving mid-set = auto forfeit (rejoining to reset RNG = auto loss)
• Clear Chilling Armor after each duel

♦♢♦ Challenge System ♦♢♦

• You are allowed to challenge 1 or 2 ranks above you until you get to #3. At #3, you must challenge #2 and then #1.
• 48 hour dodge rule (AFK, No-reply, No-show = Auto-loss) 2 consecutive Dodges = Removed from ladder.
• If you cannot complete your challenge on time it is the responsibility of the challenged to post why it wasn't completed.
• 1x 24 hour extension can be requested per match.
• If after 72 hours you still have not completed your challenge, rankings will be decided by Admins on a case-by-case basis.
• To issue a challenge you must pm your opponent, then post in thread.

• If you issue a challenge and win, you must wait 12 hours to issue another challenge.
• If you issue a challenge and lose you must wait 12 hours to issue another challenge, or 24 hours to re-challenge the same person.
• If you are challenged and win, you can issue a challenge immediately.
• If you are challenged and lose, you must wait 12 hours to issue a challenge.

If you cannot complete your challenge on time it is your responsibility to PM your challenger to inform
them and then post in thread asking for an extension. If you fail to do this dodge rule will be enforced.

At the end of the season, top 8 ranked will do a double elimination tournament to decide 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
