Welcome to the level 18 melee ladder!

Characters &
Class specific limitations
Amazon - No slow missile.
Assassin - No Summons.
Druid - No summons, except for Feral rage wolf can use spirits. No re-shifting.
Necro - No recasting bone armor, Amp damage only curse allowed.
Pally - No Prayer. No auras that cause damage like thorns or holy fire.

Attacking skills allowed: Jab, Conc, Bash, Zeal, Sacrifice, Maul, Feral Rage, Dragon talon, Tiger strike, Auto Attack.

FG prize pool will be split between top 3 finishers and for each match completed during the ladder. The more you play the more you win.
1st - 15% of total pot
2nd - 10% of total pot
3rd - 5% of total pot
Remaining 70% will be split among all participants based on their total number of completed matches.

Example: 1000fg pot (50 total completed matches)
1st - 15% finish bonus + 6 completed duels = 150fg + 84fg
2nd - 10% finish bonus + 15 completed duels = 100fg + 210fg
3rd - 5% finish bonus + 4 completed duels = 50fg + 56fg
4th - 0% finish bonus + 25 completed duels = 0fg + 350fg

Rules
1) Be respectful and follow the GM rules. Lets have fun.
2) You can enter up to 2 characters to be active in the ladder.
3) Duels will take place in Inner Sanctuary in Act 1 Normal.
4) Each person must verbally say "G" or signal being ready by swinging at the air.
5) No elemental damage charms are allowed.
6) Cold damage is only permitted on rare weapons and circlets as a base mod.
7) No items with slow or knockback. (Crushflange, clegs, etc)
8) Classes can use any charges that are specific to their own class. Zeal and Sacrifice charges can be used by ANY class.
9) No use of Skulls are permitted. 20 ATD and 20 rep life are the max for any build and must spawn naturally on your item as a mod.
10) Ethereal items MUST have repair mod.
11) No targeting anything other than your opponent.
12) No potions of any kind
13) Respec is allowed before your match, you may not token during or between your sets

CHALLENGING SYSTEM RULES
Duels will be best of 3 sets, first to 5. You must win each set by 2. If the score is 4 to 5, continue until you have a 2-point lead and that will be the score.
* You may challenge up to 2 ranks above you until you reach the top 3 then you must duel #3 then #2 then #1 sequentially (#5 may challenge #3 but #4 can only challenge #3 and cannot skip #3).
* After you POST the challenge, PM or discord message the challenged dueler.
* If you issue a challenged and win, you must wait 12 hours before issuing another challenge.
* If you issue a challenged and lose, you must wait 24 hours to issue another challenge with that character and must wait 48 hours to challenge the same individual.
* If you were challenged and successfully defend, you may challenge again right away.
* If you were challenged and lose, you must wait 24 hours to issue another challenge and 48 hours to challenge the same individual again.
* Dodge rule (afk, no-reply, no-show = auto-loss) (2 consecutive dodges and dropped to bottom of ladder).
* You may only have 1 active challenge at a time (Per character) - do not challenge someone if you are in a challenge and do not challenge someone in a challenge already.

Why are ele dmg charms banned? Zeal > kicker with full set and jabber > kicker with full ele set.
I'd like to see the testing of this.

Might join with something later.

No grandiose reason other than i want to keep it traditional melee, same reason no fire claws or vengance.

Only exception i guess is if someone wants to make a melee sorc haha.

Well the typical melee chars at 18 have been zeal, jabber, barb, kicker and they are all even. Just seems silly to me.... anyway no need to discuss it here.
But no knock back (in other words no crushflange and no ele dmg scs.... kickers wouldn't beable to compete).
Zealer > rest typically.
