I will be hosting my first bvb tournament in d2r
I have held many diablo 2 lod uswest best of the west bvb tournaments in the past
after playing the game (d2r) in its current state for 3 seasons and observing a successful bvb tournament be completed (last season)
I am ready to continue Cpt's Best of the Best BVB Barbarian tournament

This is a barb only tournament
You can only enter one barbarian in the tournament
This will be a double elimination tournament
Matches will be first to 7 (ft7) if both Barbarians die in the same round it is a tie which is a null/void round and will be posted as 7-3-0(example)

"THE RULES" you are required to understand and comply with these rules or you may be disqualified
both players must say G or perform a normal attack (incase chat bug) before each round before the round can begin
do not flame or harass any other player in the tournament whether it is in game or on any forum you will be disqualified I don't care
do not run
elemental total damage is capped at 200!!!!!! no exceptions
do not use poison
do not use slow!
do not leap
do not leap attack
do not use healing or rejuvination pots mana only
do not cast except for bc bo and shout
do not use gear that has chance to cast on it when struck


yes this means first ever bvb tournament with no fortitude!!!!!!!

ww does not proc cast so grief is fine
do not use cold dmg (very controversial subject) I don't care
do not use non repairable ethereal items or non zod'd ethereal items
do not leave the game when you match has started you will be disqualified
all matches will be held in the inner cloister on one side of the wp or the other (left or right) you may alternate rounds
all matches will have a ref from the player pool each player will ref a match(you cannot ref your own match)

MORE RULES
YOU MUST ENGAGE YOUR OPPONENT IN EVERY MOVE YOU MAKE
-do not whirlwind away from your opponent trying to bleed them while purposely avoiding attacks
-dodging or avoiding your opponent altogether you will be disqualified
if you afk in game longer than 15mins with no response you will be disqualified
do not visit your stash during any match what you come to the fight with is what your stuck with
each player will do a gear check with the ref when ever requested and at the beginning of each match
do not use any mods hacks cheats if you are overly suspected you may be disqualified so play nice and i will to
finals are first to ten with any tie being null/void as stated above
if you are double eliminated you may still be a ref
there will be a bracket posted at challonge

you will have 24 hours to complete each match but lets not drag these out




this tournament will start on 7/22/23 you have 2 weeks ladder is full of bvb gear nobody is grabbing up so its cheap
entry fee is 200 forum gold send to Cpt with "BVB tournament" in the description
i will post the entries names as they are entered

unlike past tournaments only one barbarian can truly be the Best of the Best

so the only payout (full pot) goes to the champion
good luck to all of you even if its only a few

enter your barb as such jsp/barbname/paid status(paid or unpaid) plus i will have a record obv

and i will be posting all my matches on youtube and all matches i ref

Normally I wouldn't post in a tourney topic that I'm not a part of, but you need to wait until your char resets to NL, dude. There is no pvp on Ladder especially gm melee of any kind. There's 10-15 geared BvB barbs on NL, a ladder, and sometimes tourneys too. Same with Asia server where bvb is pretty popular. Gl.

Great idea but I have to agree that NL is the best place to hold a tournament. Banning fortitude will also lead to everyone using eth toothrow because there is no reason to use anything else if you want to win xD

this is ladder only after reset it will expire and i will post a new ladder bvb tourney next ladder ty for reading if no one joins no worries but there are plenty on nl

Honestly, I would be very interested to join in a tourny like this one, but it has to be hosted on Non Ladder.

i host ladder only tourney just like in the past theres plenty of nl bvb stuff for you nl guys this is for ladder grinders only not hoarders
