Fortitude is banned in ZvZ because of the Chilling Armor Proc
Chilling armor randomly negates weapon based projectiles for absolutely no reason
This elongates a ZvZ match in unnecessary ways
A ZvZ ft5 match (between two opponents who really want to win) can easily take upwards to an hour or more to complete
When you allow them to use Fortitude, double that time
Simply put, it's easier on everyone's schedule and the practicality of the match, to have Fortitude banned in a ZvZ specific ladderIf you were to join a ZvZ ladder for any significant amount of time, you'd quickly agree with the ruling as has everyone else before you
Fortitude is allowed in ZvA because other classes are not firing physical projectiles at you
In this case, Fortitude is doing nothing to hinder or make a match redundant
Also, the contestants in BowaPK have been changing/tweaking this ruleset for years now
We often put up debate in the thread about current ruleset
We go in-game and run tests and take votes to see if anything needs to be changed
This ruleset is not something that needs to be updated
It is something that is constantly being updated
