If you're at #3 and aren't able to beat #2, then how do you deserve the (temporary) title of #1, when you can't beat someone.

You make a good point though, if #2 can't beat #1, but #3 can; and if 3 can't beat 2 then you're in trouble.

It's kind of just a pick ur poison case, and the way it is now is kinda less likely to be troublesome.

IMO its less deserving for a #1 to keep its title by just defeating #2. sure it will be temporary maybe for #3 if he can but #2 will have to beat him and #3 gets another shot after.

good point tho idk well have to ask every1 what they think.

im the one that actually made that rule with the top 3 (before top5) only challenging 1 up. i feel like it should change now.

You can challenge the same person on both ranks at the same time. Think of them as separate ladders, so what happens in one doesn't mean anything in the other rank.

This time however, he has a pending duel in rank 2, so you can't challenge him because of that, not because you just challenged him in rank 1.
