When a duel starts, it's like a special space, two protagonists are sharing that same space, then a psychological war starts, each of them will use everything they have for defeat the opponent, since in such duel only one can stand at the end. You and your opponent owns that right, think about it
Rather than kill, consider this as a way to build up something, you follow your blueprint which is also changing each second. Adaptation must be your ally, not your enemy. Concentrate on your goal, do not let the surroundings getting into your way of building, you can't ignore things, it is a fact, your brain cells collaborates with the others at same rate, whenever you are, you get information of many kind, it may cause a mess in your plans. You aren't just fighting your opponent, it is more about that you are fighting two guys at the same time, two very strong ones, the first one is your opponent and the second is yourself simply.
I will give you one tip, considering what has been written up there: when you are facing me, I will do everything I can to use your Alter as an ally. Think about that, but I may also perhaps just think as a "COOOOONAAAAN!!" and rush in you without any strategy
