It works that way for a reason, someone who has not lost a duel is uneffected by the challenge of current. You can easily rechallenge alex right this second and if you continue to be a better player then him, beat him and take the spot, where as if people were oushed down, people who never even dueled would be penalized. Best advise i can give oyu is challenge him and beat him again
