Well cam never stated anything about having PDR setup vs sin/barb ........

we are talking about a 1v1 instance for that

I posted in this thread asking if people thought PDR was over the top with Medi, because if the majority of people did I would recommend a limitation be involved.
I think PDR/MDR on an ES sorc IS over the top, due to PDR/MDR mechanic's enabling them to avoid practically ALL damage to HP. You can stack PDR on a Paladin and lose a lot to null JUST MB damage, ONLY if they don't use a setup that can enable you to pierce the PDR.

Edit: Good luck getting 40 PDR vs barb/sin. NO reason for that to lose to a Hdin 2v1. That's absurd.
And Kam is a fucking magician on this game. All of his opinions are extreme compared to the average-good player.


kam didn't use pdr at all against barb/sin to my knowledge, pretty sure he was just referring to really hard jodering.

Obviously Hdins are underrated and there are some exceptional Hdin players on EU but that's ridiculous.
IMO, Sin has definite advantage 1v1 if no PDR.
Sin with Barb BO forcing Hdin to charge should never lose to overly defensive Hdin.

To reiterate: (these are my personal opinions. I'm not a mediator for this ladder, I can't make decisions. I play by the most up to date rules)

Trap > Hdin, no Medi/PDR
Trap > Hdin, Medi/No PDR
I think Hdin has an advantage with enough PDR to completely negate MB. I don't think its a massive advantage. You also give up a lot to reach a decent amount of PDR and you can pierce 50 PDR with shadow GCs.

@40 PDR you can null base MB for the standard Trap setup (slvl 38 MB). You can potentially get +6 MB from claws and +9 from using Shadow GCs. @ slvl 53, MB deals 360-370 damage per cast.

365/6= 60.83
60.83-50 (extreme case of PDR, you'll have maybe 4k life and need 3 hammers to kill)= 10.83
As you can see, you can definitely pierce the WCS of PDR with a setup dedicated to it.

I think a 40 PDR cap for all classes (20 for ES) is more than reasonable. That will only negate lower levels of MB damage.

A lot of sins were using shadows over traps for like every FPK matchup on D2PK. And my point is @ 40 it's nothing extreme and Hdin gives up 300-400 life/ability to 2 hammer.
