PRetty sure guru has done the same with #1 hayz.. and has actually defended the title along with climbing a number of times..

Maybe we should change the ladder to extend challenges further, as we are all grown-ups playing a 13 year old game.. Life definitely takes priority, and we can't always meet within 3-4 day period. -- we end up typically extending duels to begin with, so really I don't see why we would put extra pressure on people for being in the top 3, or 5 for that matter... I really don't think duels not being complete has anything to do with the individual user hayz, but a combination of the two users... -- It def takes two to tango man.

-- I honestly haven't had a challenge that was sorted out before 3-4 day mark all year.

Yea I've been making sure the tally is kept. Noticed it got skipped once.

What you say is true hepzibah, but its already been adjusted from 3 to 4 days. But this is a competative ladder. Abide by the rules, not abide by your life style. Yes we all have lives to attend to, reasoning behind the 4 day now.

To put it simply, if you dont have time for the ladder, then dont join, or put yourself on vacation. No harm no foul. Ive seen so many people join, then rot at the bottom and never challenge. Its stupid

Often duels get stretched to the 5 day point.. I for one understand the rules, but also understand they were written at a time where d2 has easily 2x the playerbase it does today. times do change.

That fact alone would justify lengthening duel periods... but 4 days seems pretty fair.. -- If I was actively modding and I saw a duel was on its 4th day, I wouldn't say or make an adjustment until I spoke to parties, and would of waited till the 5th regardless..

In the current ladder state at least... I mean, we even shut down at one point. :X
