I'll take a 45k def prud build vs any death build any day..

and if I get hit make it 50k def,

death has massive damage but no -targ def and no ias; it's difficult to build around and any claims that it's "unfair" really aren't considering the big picture... The #1 weapon in tournaments is EDC because it's the safest and overall most consistent. Sometimes death makes you a superstar and other times you can't hit for shit.

and as for 'stubbornness' on west - I'd say we're all quite open minded; but from the start a lot of us were opposed to zbug forts and will be happy to see them go because it opens up a whole a whole new avenue of potential builds.

and if east ever realizes the hypocrisy of banning %ctc but allowing %ctc tap, and outlaws exile, I'll be there in a flash. I'm sure a good many west zealers would be with me.

If you're tired of tap on east make the move to west.. zeal is only going to get bigger and the rules/policys are going to be decided as democratically as possible.

I've said it a thousand times, and I'll say it again...

Death has 2 downfalls/shortcomings, which is twice as many as any other weapon. It's the most difficult to use, and the easiest to counter.

Scott has explained this a few times in the thread already.

I'll tell you fucks right now, if you plan on "banning" death, you can count on EDC being "banned" as well.

How many of you :cry: 'ing donkeys will like that, eh? EDC is the most donkey, cookie-cutter weapon out there.

This really isn't going to be the case though. After rare/crafted we'll do a no bo tourney or a no zbug tourney. This doesn't mean we'll be "banning" certain items from zeal altogether and trying to bend the rules to suit our needs, it just means we're going to switch shit up for a tourney or two to keep things interresting.

really i dont care what happens ill still be in each tourny
new rules always makes it more exciting

but u cant have death and no BO that will cause big time 1 hit kills

Ebotdz hits just as hard as death (sometimes harder) with some builds.

Let it go for now, and when the time comes we probly take votes on what's next, what's allowed, etc..etc..
