Nah it has nothing to do with whos on top in this tournament.

we been talking about death and zod bug fort for a long time since they came out, it was just brought up in the thread is all

If u have been in zeal for a while u would know and understand what we are talking about...... :bonk:

I started d2 again right before s3 ended. and at that time it wasn't bm - and right after S4 we started using bo on NL and since then death has been used and considered GM, along with zbug forts which came over at end of s4. IDK what you're talking about.

The zealers on NL at that time are almost all gone now; the only two I can think of are BareKnuckles and Paladoom who are still active now. Zealers then abhorred death along with bo and alot of other things that we would scoff at banning now; so I don't really see the validity in using them as a reference.

I don't see many people complaining about death, maybe 10 people at the most which is nowhere close to a majority in a 30 man tournament.

If anything I have as much a reason to want it banned, look how I was eliminated - a retarded 15k ar death build. It was a risk and just as easily could have sucked dick; that doesn't make death overpowered or unfair though.

Death was never a gm weapon on nl bro, it only became a gm weapon on ladder and transformed into nl, becuase of the zealers that came from ladder, alot of zealers made it more comon to use as a gm weapon. As far as Zod Bug fort goes that was a bm armor as well back then. Ask Bill and Travis im sure they remember the old days. Death was just a fun wep to use but it was never a gm weapon on nl. That weapon was a 1-2 hit kill weapon with no bo. Nor was Zod Bug fort was a gm item as well. Anybody that got caught using a zod bug fort everyone would say thats bm, thats bm. And it was bm at one point. Most of the old zealers would say that.

There is 3 items that bnet should of never made in this game

1. Zod Bug Fort
2. Exile ( But its banned on west, but east allows it on some of there tournaments, well most of them lol )
3. Death

Lol man, I can totally relate to this perspective. I'm an east zealer forced to use exile, but hate exile with a passion because it takes away peoples ability to think for themselves. I wanted to give west a shot because exile is banned, but after viewing a few duels in zealpk, came to realize it's just as bad because everyone is building around one armor: Zbug Fort.


Edit: And when I suggest on east that exile be banned just for the new ladder, I was met with opposition by the leaders of the ranked ladders. The most common response was "We hate exile too, but its always been like this though we don't know who made the rule, so nothings changing, even though most of us hate it"

You're right it is the #1 BM item. Unfortunately USeast too stubborn to change so I'll have to endure another season of shaft setups. Hopefully west is more open-minded and realizes how limiting it is to allow Ebug fort.

Edit: I just read of the earlier posts that also talk about Death runeword. Yes Death is vastly superior to EDC and BOTDZ even without fort.

I dont think banning Zod Bug fort is gonna be an issue on west.

Most dont care for it anyways, most of the zealers come from ladder so there not used to using Zod bug forts until now.

People need to wipe off the dust on those unique armors, rare, magic armors and put those babys back into use ^^....... B)
