Let me begin by saying that I am taking no sides in this. Please try understand what I'm about to say from a tournament host perspective.1)
Venom/Chilling Armor Reset - The rules state that you reset your venom/chilling in between rounds. It was up to you guys to figure out a way, whether it was rejoining the game, finding a 3rd person to join to kill, you guys are responsible for that. However, it seems like in this case, both of you benefited from this rule oversight (you do state that you were up 6-1 at one point), so I will not call a rematch for this because both of you broke this rule and both of you benefited from it at some point during the match.
2)
Shift Fury - First off, as long as GodLivesWithUs didn't adjust his position after initial contact, this was legal. For any future tournaments, I will ban this just to avoid drama. Now for my opinion on the matter: shift fury doesn't do anything if you guys both have the same weapon range (both of you were using PBs I assume), he used it against me and it didn't give him any inherent advantage (he was actually up 4-0 vs me, but I came back). The first thing you have done, is bring this up with him. Remember that this goes both ways, if you have an issue of him using shift fury, you can also use it (hell you both can just stand at opposite ends of the arena and shift fap all night and not duel if you're both really stubborn). If you can't come to an agreement of both walking in on "go" then get a judge and they'll force you both to do it. Personally, I don't think it does anything that gives an advantage in this tournament. I personally have never used it and a couple of my opponents have, and you can see from the bracket it didn't help them any.

Also,
be honest with yourself here, if you had won in the same exact circumstance as above, would you have brought any of this up after the match? Most likely not, if anything, GodLivesWithUs probably would have brought these issues up if he lost.
This is directed at EVERYONE:If you have an issue, please bring it up
BEFORE or
DURING the match. There is no penalty for stopping a match to clarify a rule, grab a judge, etc. By completing the match, you have implicitly agreed that you accept the current match as fair. If you were dueling me and I started popping full juvs, would you continue the match? Hell no, you'd stop the duel and either find a judge or come post on the thread. Please do the same any time you feel like there is any issue with the match.
Again, I mean no disrespect to soldiers1111, GodLivesWithUs, or to anyone else, but please try to understand that I can't do anything (in most cases) as the tournament host if you bring up issues after the match has concluded.
Win with humility, lose with grace, and do both with dignity.
