85% Max resist, mana pots has always been bm svs.

When you have 85% max resist on a es sorc and you get hit it takes less mana when you get hit, then your mana potting on top of it, now when your es is down you like a vita sorc with your 85% resist. So you have double tanking because you can tank the random spammed fb or lite, and now when your es breaks you dont have the fhr problem anymore so now your a vita sorc.

Quit crying about these new rules for es because its fair now.

Because Stack > max res vs cold sorcs.

and go with the rules i made up
everyone seems to think there more balanced and fair.

Ladder Setup:
East Ladder Sorc Vs Sorc Ladder

Ladder Setup:

- First to post jsp/bnet acct/char name/type with spot # gets that spot (1. SickT/z[Neo]/zTz/vita lite)
- 3 Day dodge limit, if no response or refuses to duel for 3 days = auto loss. If you're never on at the same time then the challenged is cancelled and no rechallenge for 24 hours
- Must wait 24 hours before you can rechallenge the same person
- Only one character per person
- If there are any disputes then u most provide at least 1 screenshot or pm me to med the duel or one of the meds
- If asked, you must show gear + inventory
- If for any reason you are caught using 3rd party programs, bming intentionally, etc. you may be removed from this ladder
- Three dodges = removal from ladder, rejoin when you come back tho
- Be active, thanks!

SvS Rules:
Here is the now current SvS Ruleset:

These Rules have been Based on Standard D2GM rule set, they have been modified through trial to be as fair as physically possible for all duelists.

Rules:

Third Party Programs:
No hacks. You will be banned from all ladders when caught if you use any kind of mod or hack.

Potions:
Vita Sorcs: May use mana pots only.
Es Vs Es Duels: May not use any mana pots.
Es Vs Vita Duels: Vita sorcs may use mana pots & Es Sorcs with 80% es and lower may mana pot, but 81% and above may not use mana pots

All shrines are banned.

Curses and Banned Spells / skills:
No characters may prebuff.
No Slow missile or any skill / curse used by item charge.
Enchant is not allowed.

Other:
The use of houses and walls is banned and considered being overly defensive this will result in a DQ if required.
Life Replenish Is Capped At 40.
No healing auras or otherwise.
Mercenaries are banned.
In any situation where both persons die from each other it is a draw and a null point, the score stays the same and they proceed with the duel.

Banned Classes:
Enchant builds, widow and Passion are banned from SvS.

Banned Gear:
Any item that adds a aura is banned. (exceptions: Infinity and Phoenix)


Resistances and Absorb:
If your cold resist exceeds 400, you may not wear a ravenfrost
You may not use absorb over 20%.
You may only use one item of absorb.
You may not obtain overall max resistance of over 85%.
You may use each type of absorb or max resistance at the same time. (example: tgod + infernostrides + ravenfrost)


Resistances and Absorb Exceptions:
Nightwing is not considered an absorb item.
TGod is considered a max resistance item, not an absorb item.
Es vs ES Duels: You may not obtain overall max resistance of over 85% and you may not use any peice of sorb
Es vs Vita Duels: Vita may obtain up to 85% max resistance, while Es may obtain up to 80% max resistance.
Vita vs Vita Duels: Both parties may obtain up to 85% max resistance.


These are the updated rules and will be in effect starting now.
